DAY 04: Bikaner - Jodhpur - Rohet Garh (5 H /300 km)
After breakfast a drive to Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, a marvelous Fort on a hill dominating the city, Jaswant Thada - the royal cenotaphs. Lunch at the hotel and proceed to Rohet Garh ( approx. 45 kms ). Late afternoon arrival and transfer to the Palace. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
After breakfast a drive to Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh is one of the finest examples of defensive fortification in Rajasthan. The main tourist attraction of Kumbhalgarh is the Kumbhalg arh Fort. After having a small break we visit the Kumbhalgarh fort. This fort was the second most important fort of the Mewar kingdom after Chittorgarh. This fort is rising from a prominent ridge at a height of 1914 meters high from the sea level. The fort was built in 15th century AD by Rana Kumbha. After breakfast a drive to Udaipur. Udaipur “The Venice of East”, “The City of Lakes” is the most romantic city in India. It was founded by Maharana Udai Singh 2nd in 1568. The old city is bounded by the city wall remains on the east side of Lake Pichola. Day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
After breakfast a drive to Chittorgarh, the land of bravery, chivalry and sacrifice. This is the oldest city of Rajasthan. The massive hill-top fortress is one of the most massive and most historically significant places in Rajasthan. It spreads over a 21 km area and has many beautiful palaces and memorials such as the Kumbha Palace, Padmini Palace and Jain temples. Overnight at your Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
After breakfast a drive to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, the City constructed by Akbar the Great in the 15th century but later abandoned because of scarcity of water. It has many beautiful palaces, courtyards and the Mosque of Shaikh Salim Chisti, Buland Darwaza (which is 179 meters high and the gateway to the city). Agra, the Mughal capital in the 15th and 16th century, is famous for The Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Agra has many other beautiful monuments to visit such as the massive Red Fort built in red sandstone and marble, the tomb of Itmat-ud-daula, Akbar’s Mausoleum at Sikandra, Dayal Bagh etc. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
Arrival at the Varanasi Railway Station. Transfer to the Hotel.
Varanasi, the land of Ganges, the Eternal City is one of the most important pilgrimage centres of India. The old city is situated on the banks of Ganges. At Varanasi visit the Bathing Ghats, Burning Ghats, Great Mosque of Aurangzeb, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Benares Hindu Temple, New Vishwanath Temple, Alamgir Mosque, Ram Nagar Fort & Museum and Buddhism stupas at Sarnath etc . After breakfast take a boat cruise on the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon. Overnight at hotel
Flight from Varanasi to Delhi. After arrival at the domestic airport transfer at the Hotel after Lunch proceed to tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi. Delhi, the capital of Indian republic has the strategic position in the administration since, the epic of Mahabharata. It was sacked and looted several times by foreign invaders but it stands still in all the upheavals and trembles. It is the third largest City of India. At Delhi visit Jamamasjid (India’s biggest mosque), Red fort (built in red sandstone and a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture), India Gate, Parliament house & President’s House, Qutab Minar, Bahahi Temple (lotus temple), Humayun’s tomb etc. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
