In the evening, a visit to an auditorium to watch the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali. This dance is characterized by some great story telling, amazing costumes and extensive make-up. After breakfast, drive to Periyar, to visit the Periyar tiger Reserve. Periyar is an example of nature’s bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction. After breakfast, a visit to Periyar wildlife sanctuary where you get an opportunity to sight various wild animals like elephants, sambar, gaur, macaques, Nilgiri langur, leopards and tigers. After breakfast, a drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom in the last decade has grown from a little known backwater village to a world renowned tourist destination.
