7 Nights 8 days of this Golden Triangle Tour also includes wildlife tour. This itinerary combines a Colonial-style stay, with ancient forts and palaces and the three cities of the Golden Triangle without any of the long drives usually involved in this journey. It also gives you all the sightseeing you need plus some special time to chill out and relax at some beautiful and lesser known locations. It offers a gorgeous panorama of majestic architectural creations and a rich tradition of art and culture and at the same time you will discover the wild life in Ranthambore. Here you can see some of the images that epitomize India. The marble symphony of Shahjahan's Taj Mahal, the imperial elegance of Lutyen's New Delhi, and the splendor of the desert city of Jaipur. Every city offers its unique blend of sights, sounds and experiences.

Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival Delhi

Welcomed by India World Travel representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 02: Delhi
After breakfast a visit to Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 03: Delhi - Jaipur Visit (5h 280 km)
After breakfast a drive to Jaipur - the fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of yesteryear, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. Transfer to your hotel on arrival in Jaipur. DAY 04: Jaipur Visit

continues. After breakfast take an excursion to the Amber Fort, where you can take an elephant ride to ascend to the fort. Visit the various palaces within the fort premises. The City Palace houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. The largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II is in Jaipur. This observatory which consists of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 05: Jaipur - Ranthambore (4 H 170 Km)

In the morning a drive to Ranthambore, famous for the wildlife sanctuary which is said to have India's friendliest tigers and which is also considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. This is also a wonderful place for bird watching. Arrival at Ranthambore and transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 6: Ranthambore
Ranthambore Safari: In the morning set out on a 3 hour Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open at the top) and enjoy some great game viewing in the national park. Return to your hotel. After lunch go for your second visit to the jungle and enjoy game viewing again. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
Day 07: Ranthambore - Agra (6 H 290 Km)
After breakfast a drive to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was founded after the Mughal Emperor Babur defeated Rana Sanga in a battle at Khanwa (about 40 KM from Agra). Then the Mughal Emperor Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters and built this majestic fort. After noon visit Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. Day 08: Agra -Delhi (4H 1/2 260 Km)
After breakfast drive to Delhi and depart as per flight schedule
