Overview:
This horseback ride gives you an excellent opportunity and experience of riding horses through sand dunes of rural North-East Rajasthan and visiting the well-known Mukam fair including sightseeing of Jaipur and Bikaner. This ride passes through small villages and different terrains.

Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival Delhi

Welcomed by India World Travel representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel
DAY 02: Delhi - Mandawa (6 H/270 Km)

Full-day sightseeing in Old & New Delhi – First half includes visit to Red Fort, the majestic fort on which work started in 1639. The fort that took nine years to build has all the trappings of the center of Mughal government: halls of public and private audience, domed and arched marble palaces, plush private apartments, a mosque and elaborately designed gardens.
 
You next head to Jama Masjid that was designed by Emperor Shah Jahan and built by a workforce of 5000 between 1644 and 1656. Originally called Masjid-i-Jahanuma “mosque commanding a view of the world”.


The second half of the day includes visits to Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Raj Ghat (Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation), and drive past government buildings, President House, Parliament House.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 03: Mandawa – Bikaner (3H ½/180 Km)

After breakfast drive to Mandawa – Mandawa lies in the heart of Shekhawati, or “Garden of Shekha”, named after Rao Shekha, a fiercely independent ruler who consolidated the region in 15th century. Shekhawati, often mentioned as an open air museum is known for its frescoes, painted havelis, mansions and picturesque desert landscape.


Arrival at Mandawa - Overnight stay in hotel Mandawa camp or campsite tented accommodation.

DAY 04: Bikaner - Jaisalmer Travel (6 H/325 Km)
In the morning after breakfast, a casual ride – lunch - walk through the village savoring its frescoes, painted havelis, and colourful bazaars. Evening at leisure – overnight at campsite, Alsisar.
DAY 05 : Jaisalmer Travel

After breakfast, a ride to Mehnsar – arrive at campsite Mehnsar.
In the evening, a visit to the world famous Gold & Silver frescoes Shop in Mehnsar village. Overnight stay at the campsite, Mehnsar.

DAY 6: Jaisalmer - Khimsar (5/295 Km )

After breakfast, a ride to Fatehpur – arrive at campsite Fatehpur.
In the evening, a visit to Fatehpur that has one of the largest groups of mansions in this region. Goenka and Devra Haveli has superbly painted ceilings, intricately painted chambers.Overnight stay at the campsite, Fatehpur.

Day 07: Khimsar – Jodhpur (2H/)
After breakfast, a ride to Bagri – Lunch – continue ride to Bagri – arrive at the campsite, Bagri, for overnight stay.
Day 08: Jodhpur - Ranakpur (3 H /130 Km)
After breakfast, a morning Ride to Khuri – lunch – ride to campsite, Khuri for overnight stay.
DAY 09: Rankpur - Udaipur (2 H / 90Km)
Morning Ride to Chhapar, wildlife sanctuary - established in 1971, it is a natural habitat for the endangered blackbuck. Some migratory birds also visit this sanctuary – continue ride to campsite, Chhapar, for overnight stay.
DAY 10 : Udaipur

Ride to Parewda – continue ride to Parewda after lunch – arrive Parewda for overnight stay.

DAY 11: Udaipur – Khempur (1 H / 60 Km)

Ride to Kandaldesar – lunch – continue ride to Kandaldesar – arrive campsite, Kandaldesar, for overnight in tented accommodation.

DAY 12: Khempur - Chittorgarh (2H1/2 / 120 Km)
Ride to Mukam – continue ride after lunch to Mukam – arrive Campsite, Mukam – a visit to Jambeshwar temple. Every year Jambeshwar Fair is held in the village of Mukam, in memory of the founder of Bishnoi sect, Guru Jambeshwar ji. His teachings are condensed into 120 sayings which propagate the cardinal virtues of self-control, truth and non-violence. A large fair is held in February / March every year which is attended by thousands of people from across the country.
Return to campsite for overnight stay.
DAY 13 Chittorgarh – Bundi (3 H / 110 Km)
A visit to the temple and fair grounds – back to campsite – lunch before departure to Bikaner by surface – Arrival at Bikaner – transfer to the heritage hotel, Bikaner -sightseeing of Junagarh Fort. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 14: Bundi - Pushkar (4 H / 200 Km)
After breakfast, a drive to Jaipur - the fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Overnight at your Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
DAY 15: Pushkar - Jaipur (4 H / 150 kms)
Take an excursion to the Amber Fort on the outskirts of Jaipur. Enjoy a royal Elephant ride as you climb up to the fort. The Amber Fort is the classical, romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Later on, go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering: The CityPalace, Jantar Mantar and the Hawa Mahal. Visit a rug factory and see the ladies at their intricate work, or a gem factory and see the gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight at your Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)
DAY 16: Jaipur

Take an excursion to the Amber Fort by 4x4 (4 WD) on the outskirts of Jaipur. Enjoy a royal elephant ride as you climb up to the fort. The Amber Fort is the classical, romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Later on, go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering: The City Palace, Jantar Mantar and the Hawa Mahal. Visit a rug factory and see the ladies at their intricate work, or a gem factory and see the gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight at your Hotel (4x4 Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 17: Jaipur - Delhi – Morning at your leisure and after lunch, a drive to Delhi and transfer to International Airport for onward flight.
