Overview:
13 Nights/14 days of this adventurous Gujarat Motorcycle tour offers breathtaking locations and scenic landscapes. It is also a melting pot of several civilizations resulting in a vibrant culture and a rich heritage. Where azure seas meet sparkling sands, blushing sunsets embrace rosy dawns. The jungles are verdant, lush and green, where lion's prowl and flamingoes preen. Marble temples white and pure; reflect the glory of the days of yore. Age-old palaces browned in the sun and here tribal life is a celebration of music, dance and multi-colored traditions.

Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival Delhi

Welcomed by India World Travel representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel
DAY 02: Delhi - Ahmedabad Travel (by air)

On arrival at the Ahmedabad, you will be received and transferred to your hotel and will be handed over the motorcycle with all necessary documents. During the day, you shall proceed on a half day Ahmedabad travel visiting Gandhi Ashram, Calico Museum, Utensils Museum, the Jami Mosque and finally Akshardham which is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 03: Ahmedabad - Velavadar - Lothal (3 h 180 km)

In the morning, leave for Velavadar by motorcycle via Lothal which is a 4500 year old Harrapan (Indus Valley) archaeological site. On an arrival at Velavadar, check in to your hotel.  Enjoy an afternoon Wildlife & Birdwatching Safari at the VelavadarNational Park which has the largest concentration of black bucks in India. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 04: Lothal - Palitana - Velavadar (2 H 95 km)

In the morning you will visit the Palitana temples located atop Shatrunjaya Hills and crowned with 863 temples, each rivaling the other for its beauty and magnificence. This is one of the most awe inspiring sights to devotees and visitors alike. The peak is a 3 km climb of over 3500 steps from the town, while on each temple one can see detailed carvings, beautiful idols and images, jeweled statues and intricate torans. The sunrise from behind the temples is a great sight. The climb to the top of the temple takes around 2 hrs. After the climb you would have built quite an appetite for lunch at Palitana. Drive back to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 05 : Velavadar - Diu (4.5 hrs 275kms)

In the morning leave for the beautiful Portuguese beach town of Diu by motorcycle. Check in to the hotel by lunch. The evening is at leisure to enjoy the beaches of Diu. They are exceptionally beautiful, quiet and some of the beaches also offer a wide variety of water sports facilities. Later, you will proceed on a city tour visiting St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum and the Diu Fort. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 6: Diu - Gir National Park (2 h 100 km )

In the morning leave for Gir National Park by motorcycle – the last abode of the Asiatic lions. Check in to the hotel by lunch. In the evening enjoy the afternoon Wildlife & Birdwatching Safari at the Gir National Park. One can also spot Asiatic Lions, Leopards and other animals like the chital, sambar, nilgai, chausingha, grey langur, and hyena and over 250 varieties of birds like the painted sandgrouse, peacocks and paradise flycatchers. The Kamleshwar dam reservoir has one of the largest marsh crocodile populations. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 07: Gir National Park Somnath- Gir National Park (50 min. 40 km)

Experience the thrill of the early morning Wildlife & Birdwatching Safari at the Gir National Park. In the evening visit Somnath located on the extreme southwest coast of Gujarat. On arrival you will visit the temple of Somnath, which is established as one of the twelve Shiva Jyotirlingas. In the evening enjoy Cultural evening entertainment at your hotel. The Siddi Dhamaal Dance is performed by the Negroid Siddi community which migrated from India to Africa in the 15th or 16th century. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 08: Gir - Junagarh - Gondal (2h 120 km)

In the morning you leave for Gondal via the historic city of Junagadh by motorcycle. Junagadh has a lot of historic places like the Uparkot Fort, Buddhist cave-sites, Ashoka's rock inscriptions (3rd century BC), Palace Museum, 18th & 19th century royal mausoleum complexes, Nawabi buildings and museums and the Girnar temples. Continue your onward journey to Gondal where the 1748 AD Naulakha Palace and the Vintage and Classic Car museum are a must see. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 09: Gondal -Bhuj - Nakhatrana Great Rann of Kutch (350 kms / 7hr. drive)

In the morning after breakfast your journey continues to Bhuj by motorcycle. On the way view the museums and palaces of Royal family of Kutch located at Bhuj. In the evening proceed to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 10: Rann of Kutch

In the early morning enjoy a birdwatching safari at the Chari Fulay Reserve - which has a large variety of migratory birds. Proceed onwards to visit the famous Banni Villages known for their rich traditional tribes and their amazing arts and crafts. Also visit the White Rann – an amazing natural desert landscape.  Lunch at HodkaVillage in the Banni Area. On the way back, visit the textile towns of Nirona followed by visits to Than Monastery & Fossil Farm at Than-Dhinodhar. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 11: Rann of Kutch visit

In the morning leave for Little Rann of Kutch. Enjoy an evening Wildlife & Birdwatching Safari in the Little Rann of Kutch Wild Ass Sanctuary in search of endangered desert wildlife like the wild ass and witness the sunset at a lake that attracts flamingos, pelicans, cranes and other attractive birds in large numbers. Overnight at the Hotel (Vehicle at your disposal)

DAY 12: Rann of Kutch - Modhera - Ahmedabad - (3 H 130 Km)

In the morning proceed on an excursion to the Sun Temple at Modhera that dates back to the early 11th century and then continue to Ahmedabad. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 13 Ahmedabad - Delhi (by air)

Flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi. After arrival at the domestic airport transfer at the Hotel after Lunch proceed to tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi.
Delhi, the capital of Indian republic has the strategic position in the administration since, the epic of Mahabharata. It was sacked and looted several times by foreign invaders but it stands still in all the upheavals and trembles. It is the third largest City of India. At Delhi visit Jamamasjid (India’s biggest mosque), Red fort (built in red sandstone and a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture), India Gate, Parliament house & President’s House, Qutab Minar, Bahahi Temple (lotus temple), Humayun’s tomb etc. Overnight at the Hotel

DAY 14: Delhi – Departure as per Flight schedule or for onward Destination.
