After breakfast you can have a holy bath in Ganges, visit temples and other pilgrimage places and after lunch proceed towards Rishikesh. Laxman Jhula- a hanging bridge on the river Ganga is one of the most famous spot in Rishikesh. According to Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of hanging bridge made of Jute. The bridge offers a scenic view of the river Ganga as it tumbles down to Haridwar. Also visit Bharat Mandir - the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. After breakfast a visit to the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving. You also visit the Tibetan Monastery and the handicraft center. After breakfast, a drive to Dalhousie by motorcycle. Dalhousie is built on and around five hills. Located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie is situated at 6000-9000 feet above sea level.
